As Product Manager for Growth and Discovery at Rally, I helped investors discover hundreds of unique alternative investments. Rally is an app that lets you invest in blue-chip collectibles like sports memorabilia, cars, watches, and rare whiskey.

One-of-a-kind collectibles that you can invest in
On Rally, investors can buy and sell shares of high-quality collectible assets. They can also invest in initial offerings when an asset first becomes available on Rally, like an IPO when a company goes public.
As the Product Manager for Growth and Discovery, I led initiatives to improve the user experience of discovering assets to invest in. With 400+ assets across 20+ categories, it was important to ensure that users could find assets that matched their interests.
Improving marketplace liquidity
My team also worked to improve marketplace liquidity, which is the amount of times buyers and sellers transact.
For example, my team implemented push notifications for price changes, which led to a 42% increase in matched bids.
We also implemented a screen to help users understand the lifecycle of assets on Rally, leading to a 6% increase in users placing bids.

To date, 60 assets on Rally have exited off the platform (sold to an outside collector, with profits returned to investors on Rally).

It’s just more interesting than stocks. Rally has a wide collection of assets across 20+ categories. There is also a Rally museum in NYC where you can go see your assets in person.
Collectibles markets are unique. Alternative investments like those on Rally offer both the potential for higher returns, and higher risk. If you invest, it is generally recommended to invest no more than 10% of your portfolio in collectibles.
